as you can see i'm using the haf x. i'm willing to sink around 300-400$ into the cooling, including res, pump, piping, fitting, cpu block , gpu block (got my eyes on the EK for the 7970) and i want it to look sleek and professional.

I looked around at some build logs, it looks like you can get a 360 rad internally at the top if you are willing to sacrifice a few 5.25 drive bays. As for everything else, you have plenty of options biggrin.gif You might want to try pricing out some kits like the rasa or swiftech, then just add a GPU block and maybe some extra tubing and fittings and you have yourself a loop thumb.gif

Gooodd!!!!!! wheee.gif
That helps a lot.

Well, you can fit a 360 rad into the top of the Haf X. wink.gif
I think you should be able to get a few ideas from the CM Haf club here.

Did you have your eyeses on any CPU blocks? ninja.gif

The EK block for your GPU would be fine. biggrin.gif

If you decide to go for a kit, I'd go for the Rasa. RX360 kit with some fans that have lower RPM due to the low FPI. tongue.gif

i was thinking about the RASA RX360 kit but i really rather go with the raystorm for my cpu, and i'd like a double res with a submerged pump if possible. So i'll probably get a rx360 with a raystorm and a double res (by xspc also) . Which fittings would you recommend, barbs or compression, and also which company (i know bitspower is the best but it's a little pricey). Also, on another topic, what's the purpose of the fan controllers and can't you control fan speed thru software? i know it looks cool and everything but is it necessary?

Get a nice 5.25 rad and pump combo and then mod the 360 rad on top and your good to go:) Then if needed get a 120mm dual thick rad for the back 120mm.

Check that out. Not very well done and complete yet, but might give an idea.

Barbs are perfectly fine. But, I'd recommend using 7/16"ID tubing over 1/2"ID barbs - you will get a tighter fit.

The XSPC res and Raystorm + rx360 is a good idea. + that ek 7970.

Here is a complete kit that has everything for the first part of your loop, its an upgraded rasa kit that includes the raystorm block.

You will need to add a gpu block, 2 more fittings, 2 caps (2 cap off the other 2 ports on the gpu block), more tubing and the second rad (if you add a second rad)

Other combinations of the kit are available for a little less also here: http://dazmode.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=178_201
