I can confirm a perfect fit with a FC5V2 and a Lian Li PC-B70 without effort, both in bezel width and face alignment with the original bay covers.
Simply by using the tool less 5.25" retention pin on screw hole, plus a screw on the opposite side to keep it in place. I can post pics if needed.

I have the HAF932 and becuase I do a lot of reviews have tried many controllers as well as other components in it's drive bays. The Lamptron Touch however doesn't fit properly and it didn't matter how hard I tried the faceplate still sits approximately 2-3mm recessed from the front. Short of drilling new mounting holes there was no way of making it fit.

I have not had a single complaint regarding the HAF932 except for on this forum directly and still I have not received pictures from the folks complaining about this problem, so it is making it a very difficult issue to address. I have personally tested the Lamptron Touch controller in many cases and none of them have had this problem you speak of. I need specific's and pictures of the problem to send to the engineering team to determine if this is a design problem or a quality control problem. The fractal design case that is posted in this thread doesnt show me exactly where the mounting locations are on the side of the case, and because fractal cases are custom designs I cannot speak on whether or not it is a mounting problem with the case or the controller itself.

I don't know about the lamptron touch but my FC4 doesn't sit right in my FT-02 or my HAF932. I just didn't have to force it in as much in the HAF.

This picture sums up the exact issue. That bump out should not be there. I don't understand what the point of that is. Notice how ever other 5.25 device has completely flat sides.

The bump is there to apply tension against the sides of the case, all of my controllers have this same bump and I have never experienced issues at all. This is my own personal controller in my Lian li case right now...

granted its a little dusty and i probably should get the swiffer out lol but it has no issues with alignment at all. I have to see the actual case itself and the alignment of the mounting screws etc to fully explain the problem to the engineering dept.

Try shoving one into a Silverstone FT-02. Even in my HAF932 where it actually does fit a bit better the extra stress causes my fan controller to bow a bit.
