That's a very good PSU. You can't go wrong if you chose that unit. However, it's measurably less efficient than the Capstone unit that I recommended, and if you're a 24/7 folder then you'd easily recoup the extra $5 in energy costs alone. Both are good choices, but in the end I see the Capstone as a smarter purchase.

You can never go wrong with this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094

Or this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182131

They're both $69.99 and can definitely handle what you want.

have a look at this thread as well:

http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies

technically you just need a 500-550W unit so any of these should be good for you (taken from the link above):

500-599w
Kingwin Lazer Platinum 550w
Lepa G500
Enermax Pro87+ 500w
Seasonic X-Series 560w
NZXT Hale90 550w
Antec True Power New 550
PC Power & Cooling Silencer MKII 500w
OCZ Fatal1ty 550w
OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w
Enermax NAXN 80+ 500w
Kingwin Lazer Gold 550w
XFX Core Series/Pro Edition 550w
Seasonic S12II/M12II Bronze 520
Antec NeoECO 520C
Antec High Current Gamer 520
Rosewill Green Series 530
Nexus RX-5300
Nexus NX-5000 R3
Antec Earthwatts 500D
Silverstone Strider Plus 500w
Silverstone Strider Essentials 500w
OCZ StealthXStream 2 500w
Thermaltake TR2 500P
PowerColor Gamer Series 500w

Here's another link that can definitely help you choose lower wattage PSU's:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1140534/psu-calc-final-release

You can use it to calculate what your requirement wattage is, if it comes out that you can use a 450-500W PSU and it's cheaper then go for the PSU's listed on the recommended PSU list link.

I agree that you want to go for efficiency when looking for a new power supply that will be folding. loosing 5% of the power drawn at full load (not very likely running full load 24/7 though) would be 21.6 KWH a month and depending on where you live it could cost between 2-5$. Even half of that is substantial when you look over the course of several months to a year

I was able to find one review on that unit. It suggests that the Hive is a decent PSU, but unremarkable. I'd place it in the 'good value' category rather than 'high performance.' If it was my money, I'd still go with the Capstone. It's worth mentioning that I have a 450W Capstone powering my home server, including its GTS450 that folds 24/7.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but you're giving some bad advice here. A quality 550W PSU can power any single GPU / single CPU combination on the market. Your list of recommended PSU is also incomplete and you don't cite any reviews or hardware tests.

This is very good advice. Note that there are a few PSU that should be on that list that aren't because it simply hasn't been updated in a while. My Capstone is one of them, but it is recommended by a reputable source here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1185762/rosewill-capstone-450-recommended-or-no
