Best Tablet For The Price

I'm looking for a tablet around $200 (or less, of course) and wondering what some of your suggestions might be. Android, of course. The Kindle Fire is okay but I prefer the Android OS a lot.

Kindle fire and root it to android, or ASUS Transformer Prime. Out of your price range but way better tablet IMO.

Kindle Fire is on a Android OS (although a modified) and if you like it just use Go Launcher and or ADW Launcher on the Kindle Fire and it'll be the same as having "regular" android and there are a couple good roms out there and mods you can do to make it all that much better. You can't beat the value of the Kindle Fire, I myself have one and it is a really great tablet and I have owned the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 and Asus Transformer before and I think the Kindle Fire holds its own against those for the price you pay.

Check out the XDA-developers forum, there is an all in one root tool and flasher tool that is fool-proof and only takes 5-10 minutes max to get a full custom rom and root on your Kindle Fire.

I bought my wife the 10" Le Pan TC 970 and she loves it. I got it for about $180 on a Black Friday sale on newegg, but sometimes Walmart will have it cheap too. She uses it to play Android games, watch movies (Hulu, Netflix), read books, whatever. It's very thin, and it fits all of the Galaxy 10 cases.

I like the look of the Le Pan TC 970, and the big screen is kinda cool, but I'm looking at the Window N50 5" tablet as it'd fit in my pocket easily and still has a decent amount of features.

I've looked into the Kindle Fire a little more and once I found out memory is limited an not expandable I'm thinking I definitely don't want to grab that, though the rest of the specs are very nice for the cost.

Does anyone have experience with the N50? It has an attractive price point at just under $120. Cortex A8 should be enough cpu for apps and browsing?

http://www.merimobiles.com/Window_N50_Rockchip_RK2918_5_inch_Capacitive_Andro_p/meri0838.htm is the best price I could find on it.

Still open to any suggestions for tablets. I've also looked into Novo7 and Novo8 tablets but not really sure on how reliable they really are.

Thanks guys!
