If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. No, but dude, I remember seeing this thing where some guy cracked open a PIII chip so he could put it under an electron microscope and take a bunch of pictures. The fineness of the weave of wires makes me think it would take more than a couple days to dry out. That's my two cents anyway. Take it for what it's worth.

Tease it. Make it want more. Set up a full watercooling loop that will get it so moist you need a res to contain it.
Slowly bump up the multiplier.. make the processor want more, make the processor squirm to each additional increase.
Once the processor has already been satisfied, show it love and bump up the voltage like no other processor has ever experienced. Make the processor know that only you, could love it this well.
Keep teasing your CPU with a bit of voltage..a bit of multiplier...if you're in the mood, you can stroke its RAM latency and get that tight. CPUs love it when its tight. Even put the RAM underwater; tight and wet is the best combo.
Massage your cpu with thermal lube, make sure to get everything spread evenly.. then slowly put on the heatsink to protect it.
Then once the processor is nice and hard overclocked, you do a final benching run where you blow 6Ghz all over that CPU-z validation page.

To have a healthy relationship with your loved one, you must satisfy him/her through any means possible (watercooling, LN2, phase-chillers.. whatever turns it on )

I say rice, works wonderfully. My cousin dropped his cellphone in the mop bucket and placed it in rice for a day or two and it work fine after that.
