Run the uninstaller from SPTD file.

Yes, that was exactly the reason, but when I'm on site I don't have the time to fiddle with settings or take an extra step. MagicDisc does what I need it to do without extra configuration to have it work properly.

Think of it like removing the DVD drive you used to install games from the physical disc. wink.gif
(just removes the program, not what you installed with it)

No, Daemon Tools is a virutalization program, nothing more. You use it to mount image files to a "virutal" DVD drive. Think of it as installing a game via DVD in a DVD drive, but it's all happening virtually rather than physically.

Not like it ever needed an update. lol

I see some people like being able to use a context entry to simply right-click and mount their ISO.
Does anyone realize that Daemon has had the command to do this?

-shellmount "%1"

I think that's what it was.
Works great for file association or context entries.
My favorite part; Daemon doesn't have to be running to mount the image. smile.gif
(just checked-- the process does run for a couple seconds while it mounts, then it's gone)

BTW - If any other virtual disc app can do this, please let me know.
Would be happy to ditch Daemon if this is how they operate.

Pretty sure VirtualCloneDrive has the ability to right-click and mount an ISO via context menu. At least, I've been able to do that on my computer. VCD is always running though when I do this. Not sure if it'll work without VCD running.
