[Reuters] Apple may face iPad export ban in China trademark dispute - Page 2

Ahahaha, take that Apple. It isn't right to create lawsuits about trivial things Apple. (Slide-to-Unlock anyone).

I believe in copyright's, but not suing to take away from competition and stupid things.

If this goes through, Apple will see a huge loss. especially with their new iPad coming out soon. hahahaha kinda wish this works out in favor of China.

You don't get it. The objective is not to stop Apple from selling Ipads...but to cash in. Seriously, do you even read the articles? rolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gifrolleyes.gif

Uhh yeah I do get it? They're not threatening Apple with this, they're trying to do it which if successful would ban the import and export of iPads and may last as long as the case itself. Apple won't cave if they actually bought the results to the trademark in China, and they'll sue for damages.

Again, you don't get it. Bans are only enforced when the demanding company has something to sell (ie. the case Samsung vs Apple). In this case its clear that they want money. Of course you threat the other party to pay or else...but its not because you want a ban to be enforced (you win nothing by it)...

As I said, I do get it. I'm well aware they're after the money, not an actual ban on iPads but that doesn't mean they won't go through with it (if they can) if they don't get the money.
