Ya sorry, it's a hard one to find becuase it was older tech and has changed abit (so it's more common in todays boards as OC Protection) . It still doesn't change what I've posted. You're system will shut down if your temps go through the roof, so thats what's important.

So with overclock protection, the system shuts down when the volts are to high or you put the settings to high in the bios and you wont have to reset it and this also covers overheating. What I've experienced with Asus is that it shuts down when something bad is going on as well (I really love those boards) , also as a final backup Windows will shut itself down as well, so your good.

Usually I have found with Asus they build that in and it already works... mine shuts down at 69* Also with these PII's if they get that hot they downclock instantly to 1Ghz to cool down... so there is no need to worry, your Mobo has got your back on this
