Problems with new FX-8120 build (strange)

I originally posted these issues in "power supplies" because I thought maybe mine was too small or sum'n but I was referred back here. I have an fx-8120 on an Asrock Fatality 990-fx board. 8 gb g-skill Ripjaws-x 1600 RAM, and an 6870 card (all new). I'm running a single rail OCZ 550 watt power supply in an Aerocool strike-x S.T. case. Win 7 64 bit. I have had problems with out of the blue-restarts,blue screens, trouble reading my usb's,wouldn't restart correctly unless I pressed the reset button and more. Like I said, I thought I was low on power, but after testing, I have plenty of power and several ppl said these were classic B.D. issues. Anyone else out there having problems like this? I know the BullDozer Is new and there are many update fixes and bugs to work out and if that is it, then I'll just wait until they come out. Does anyone have any advice or info? I'm running a Corsair 60 gig S.S.D. and a Seagate 160 gig sata 3 hard drive for games and a sata 2 W.D. 750 gig "green" hard drive for mass storage. I also am running a Zalman 9900 MAX cooler with red l.e.d. thanks all...

Any overclock on the FX? that might be the issue.. it's a power hungry CPU, and what kind of BSOD code are you getting?

no overclock now,but both video and cpu were. i flashed bios from 1.50 back to 1.48 and reinstalled win 7 and put all back to stock. i was thinking of installing a 2nd power supply up top to run all fans and extras including drives and the 550 watt for board and cards only.
