Slow HD speeds in HD Tune

Thread Starter
Over the past few weeks I have noticed that everything is loading slower than usual, taking longer to boot, etc...finally got around to running HD tune to find some interesting results.

Ran two different tests, on after a fresh restart with everything I could turn off, off, and the results are extremely similar. I have 2 WD 640GB Black in Raid 0 on my Gigabyte UD3P board, and pretty much have not fussed with anything since I built the computer. I think the last reformat I did was early 2010 ish, I maybe wrong.

You can see my HD tune results from when I initially built my computer (Before I installed and took out some SSD Drives I had, thus the reformat in 2010) in this thread

There were also some issues I had with the motherboard not detecting the HDs in Raid off and on for several months, and since I moved to Vegas, I have not had that issue since.

I have also attached a scan of a WD 250GB that I have had for around 7 years that I brought over from an HP desktop I owned between 2005-2009. This graph looks normal and what I expected to me.

Where to go from here? New HD's? New Mobo?

Ran CCleaner through, got rid of alot of temp files, fixed over 300 registry errors, and deleted a few programs that I never use, and speeds are back up to normal, no odd dips and extremely low speeds. thumb.gif

Well it doesn't appear to be fixed at all, I have times where the whole system becomes extremely laggy, closing and opening windows, exporting pictures (lightroom), opening sites on chrome, etc...and other times I can restart my computer and the speed will be normal?

I am at a stand still here and totally confused if I have a hardware issue or not.
