H100 or Full Blown Waterloop [Specific Details In Post]

I need a cooler for 24/7 max load cpu folding of a 2600k @ 4.9ghz 1.43vcore. Its currently running at 73c max on the custom water loop on my sig rig.

I am moving the processor (if I dont get Ivy folding) to a new case and designing something quieter in terms of cooling. I was thinking a H100 may be enough, however due to high ambient temps I wonder.. I had a H60 before my waterloop and was at 85c at 4.7ghz and it didnt get too far into prime so I would assume the temps would be higher for 24/7 OC..

What would the cooling difference be between a H100 vs another custom loop (prolly cost more) actually be. Money isnt a huge problem as long as the cost is justified in degrees..But i would like to keep costs to a min for a folding rig..

For cases I was thinking a mid size that I could keep quiet .. I was looking at a Corsair Odsidian 650D, but I am up for suggestions.

Thanks!

With a 650D you might be better off with a custom loop only because you can add the additional 200mm rad in the front if you remove the hdd cages. If thats something you can't do, i would opt for just the H100 and try to manage a push pull config as that will easily keep your temps around 75c if not lower. If you opt for something like the 600T, theres a mod where you can cut out part of the plastic skeleton in the top, and add a 360mm rad which further expands your cooling possibilities.

I have a 360rad (slim) with 5 high speed yate loons (half speed) in a push/pull on a cpu only loop and I am seeing 73 max on 24/7 folding..

I cant say that a 240rad wouldnt produce the same result because after awhile its only a matter of water temp and ambient temp affecting it.. and having (2) 360rads wouldnt cool better than one if there isnt anything to really cool.. if you follow..

Just sceptical..
