ASUS M4A79XTD Evo Boot problems, cant boot into windows? Only boots to GRUB4DOS???

Hello all,

Just got my M4A79XTD all set up with my new rip jaws, but i cant boot? After boot splash i get this error " find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bootmgr Error 15: File not found Press any key to continue..."

i press enter, and i get a red screen with options like Windows with SLIC loader pointer default, windows without loader, load external menu and grub command line. there are 9 choices, i have never seen a screen like this in my life. Name up top says iots GRUB4DOS 0.4.4 2009-09-03

Board beeps once, posts fine, bios works fine... idk what to do? HELP? mad.gif

UPDATE:
Problem Fixed

Clean sweep, partitioned my HDD. Installed windows XP on 7gb partition, then in XP installed WIN7 in the much larger partition. BOOM. im in.

Sorry, I would have done a fresh install of Windows if I upgraded my motherboard. I like everything fresh rolleyes.gif. You don't have to do that though. Try putting in your windows dvd and doing a start up repair as that seems to be a boot manager error

Try going into the BIOS, by pressing DEL at the splash screen, then select your windows partition as the first/primary boot device
