not to get off topic but this is a misleading. There are many more factors involved.

The 7770 isn't worth more than $100. way to go AMD stupid pricing thumb.gif

doesn't matter if it's a new tech, slower and more expensive ( not by much ) but, still that is not good marketing.

you may be the only one unaware of how two gtx460/HD6850/HD6870 perform. all solutions can be had for the same price or less. 6870cf will actually beat the 7970 on average without an overclock.

Agreed, their pricing is just plain stupid. Looks like I'll be hanging on to this 5850 till the 7850 or 7870 hit the $150 and below mark I can comfortably afford one at.

a bit harsh.... not like the guy was saying as some sort of hardcore fact, merely an observation.

Next time could you leave the arrogance at the door. Makes the forums a better place smile.gif

I have to say that in about 2-3 months we will be seeing $10-15 price drops and $20 rebates lol

$100? You're insane. $140 would do it.

Yeah, not sure if i would say that. Its right around the peformance of a gtx 560, which are about 160 at the cheapest. So i wouldnt go as far to say that its not even worth $100. I would probably say around $140 would be a good price.
