That's why corsaid hydro solution works well and that's why this isn't going to be good...

I am sure the plate to adapt between cards could not cost all that much considering the whole thing is $120, inclusive of one of those, would almost be the equivalent of switching backplates between sockets, (probably a bit more costly though like $20-ish based on the cost of the whole system and it is inclusive of the plate for the 580/570/480[same plate])

Hard to me to explain. Can't find the words in English.
I think Hellish understood me well. I mean you can use the hydro solution from corsair on every possible socket on the market at the moment but you couldn't do a single block for every graphic cards on the market at the moment. The company would have to make specific block for EVERY cards (of course they won't). Thus, the targeting market will be restricted to a few model (popular one) and the success will be far away from the one corsair has.

So if they went a reference route with the blocks, then it would work fine for most people who purchase early? This would be something I would look into as a full custom loop seems just a bit overwhelming to me.

Look at the 7950... Released but with non-reference boards! Would only work on popular models (reference or non-reference doesn't matter) so again the success of this is greatly limited. Plus looking at some air cooling solution Asus or MSI offers on their non-ref products, I don't think this small radiator can compete with this.

Should of just gone with bundling the Antec 620 with mounting brackets and extra heat sinks to fix AMD/ATI cards and Nvidia cards. That would of been much more successful IMO since you arnt limiting your market.

Was just curious. Not sure if my Twin Frozr II 5850 counts as a non-ref product, but it was loud. Maybe I am just fooling myself though and should just throw down on a custom loop!
