My first mechanical keyboard. This thing is a dream to type with, but I think I may have a problem.

Is it normal for new keyboards to have a certain button pressed down, half? Could my Ducky be defective, or is this a normal thing for new mechanical keyboards? Sort of a break in period for the switches to settle in.

Thoughts, OCN?

Ps. I've been typing on it a while longer and haven't been able to replicate the symptom. So, I was wondering, should I return this and get a different one, or keep typing, this is just a "new keyboard" with keys that need to be pressed.

Thanks, it's a dream to type on. I did get to demo the Brown, Black and Red.

Black, too tough.

Brown and Blue were pretty much the same, just right.

Red.. Too soft.

Though, this thread isn't about that, I'm concerned that this may be an issue as the keyboard grows older...

So, is it?

One of the switches were getting stuck half way. Hasn't happened since though, so I'm beginning to think it's nothing to worry about.

maybe it just had dust in it? pull the keycap off, press switch and blow air into it.
