Well once my gpu arrives and I Try the CF. IF IT GOES TO CRAP, I will have to sell it ASAP.and get a 7970. I am all about the frames while keeping the game looking beautiful.

FYI I have 6950's crossfired and dont have any issues. I am running 12.1 and everything is working great.

Just make sure you fully un-install any drivers first. I never drop below 80FPS in BF3 with all settings maxed out. thumb.gif

You may have done something wrong then. For a xfire setup there needs to be a little tweaking but its all worth it in the end.

I love my 6950's!

micro stutter happens with lower end cards. Other than that it will be fixed with some bios settings.

Google is your friend.

I dont know why everyone is bagging xfire ..

iv seen BF3 run on 2 x 5850's ultra settings , perfectly smooth .. no stutter ? performs alot better than my 6950 ..

Im not joining the bandwagon , i say get another 6950 you will be more impressed .. Just use the latest drivers and cap , shouldn't have any issues at all .

7950 isnt leaps and bounds faster than a 6950 , maybe 10-15% .. compared to 40-50% increase when adding another 6950 .. You will be dissapoint with 7950 i reckon .

though you could get the 7950 and another one later on , that will give you best performance .
