Need help with a video file that slows my processor

Thread Starter
Hello, i recently downloaded a video file that is H264 Format, its 300mb and i view it just fine in VLC Media Player.

Now the problem is i cant delete the file, it gets stuck at "recycling" and it makes my AMD Phenom X4 965 run at 100%. It slows my pc down so much that i need to restart it to fix it.

When i even go into the folder where the video file is it does this and slows my pc i realy want to delete it but cant.

Iv tried Safe mode but it still doesnt work. Renaming the file makes windows explorer crash too. Help me frown.gif

this is the best i have come up with so far, scroll down to "Delete Troublesome files"

make sure you have the latest software and drivers installed, you can use ccleaner to clean your registry and C drive, might want to deep scan for viruses. if worse comes to worse you can system restore probably.

heres something you should try http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/ chances are something is linked to your file this will be able to tell you if that really is the case. even then if its not you can still try deleting it with unlocker.

OH there is a sure fire way of getting rid of it. but this requires a second computer. what you do is you simply put the hdd in another computer and delete it that way.
