P8Z68 v-pro gen3 + Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC graphics card

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

i 've just finished my first own build and i have one problem left, I can't install the driver for the graphics card. If i connect the card i don't have any image on my iGPU-display (VGA) or on the Gigabyte-adapter and if i disconnect the Gigabyte-card i can not install the driver because i don't see the correct hardware.
In the BIOS 'Initiate Graphics Adapter' is set to PCIe/PCI .
Do i need to set any other parameters in the BIOS? Do i have to do something else first?

Thanks!

iGPU setting, sorry i don't see that setting. Doesn't the "i" stands for "integrated" so it is automatically set to "i"?

iGPU mode is set to multi monitor if that can help.

concerning the power cables, it's not a tough question and yes they were plugged in. It's always good to check that redface.gif)

if you can run the machine off integrated graphics, boot with them, install drivers then power down and then install the card.

-EDIT-
Read the last bit. Can you get and alone drivers, no bloat ware?

Try here:

Try these, then when booted install your gigabyte ones.
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-64bit-285.62-whql-driver-uk.html

then uninstall these ones and run driver sweeper.

so you can't just switch the plug(monitor) to the gigabyte GPU and install the drivers for it? I mean it really shouldn't be that hard to do. Forget about the iGPU for a second, you wont be able to just have your monitor plugged into the iGPU and then be able to pop in a GPU and then try and install its drivers. GPus detect when there is a monitor plugged in.
