Wow, "He's down, kick his teeth in and make sure he never gets back up!".

I am starting to feel rage when I think of Apple.

To quote my friend who just loves apple. "Cause it looks cool"

I guess a lot of people care more about the visual appearance instead of performance.

Heh, well I meant that Apple should have no grounds for suing Kodak. They aren't making devices that look like iPhones or IPads or anything...and if it relates to just digital cameras Kodak should have the right away since they pretty much invented them.

The Apple lawyer would walk into court and say "We are suing them!" Judge says, "For what?" Apple lawyer says, "We...don't know, but we are suing them!"

I applied for a Genius position a while ago, but found another job before I pursued it further (long interview process). Do you want to knock me out? Its a bit pathetic to be honest and I think you could do with growing up a bit first thumb.gif

I consider myself highly technical and know a lot about technology (working as an IT professional for over 8 years), so you can't really call me a sheep or technically inept either. I have plenty of fellow IT chums that know more than you can imagine... they also own Apple/Mac products...

I don't get why people are SO enraged about Apple and their products. I like Apple stuff - I have an iPod, iPhone 4 and a MacBook. All have been reliable, quick and are nice to use.

Some of Apple's business practices are a little bit off colour at times, but so are most large corporations.

Don't knock the products and their customers though - they are better than you think wink.gif

Trust me I wish I kept the ipod nevermind pics... When it happened I took the out of warranty Ipod to an apple store and told them if they didn't replace it I would open it up infront of people walking into the sotre and show them what apple products can do, that was when the store manager promptly went in the back and got a new one for me... her jaw dropped when I popped it open infront of her because that is taboo but the evidence was clear as day the PCB was burnt and began to melt the HDD.
What happend was I plugged it in to charge it, I was going out of my apt but before I could put it down I had to drop it because the Ipod started burning my hand through the metal backing. I thought I could fix it with a battery replacement but when I opened it up I knew It was on fire and well done.

Because it runs my UNIX apps natively and has the best GUI. Sure I paid around $200 more for the MBP but the battery life without having some huge bulging battery pack and trackpad was worth it. I run OSX on my "gaming" rig too. The only reason I ever touch Windows, is for DirectX games.
