Trying to Find a DVI Signal Swapper...

Thread Starter
I have 6 displays arranged in a 3x2 (3 wide, 2 tall) setup. I have my gaming box attached to one row of three and a couple of work machines attached to the other row of these. What I'd like to do is be able to swap those back and forth very easily.

I've scoured the googles and have been unable to find a simple signal swapper.

The only thing I've come up with is a rats nest of splitters (one for each signal) and dual source switches (one for each monitor). That's alot o'signal changes, and potentially signal degredation. It could work, but it'd be a mess.

I'm just wondering if anyone's ever seen a switch (DVI or HDMI) that will swap signals.

KVM won't work any better than an A/B switch and splitters. I'd still need 6 splitters and 6 KVMs... unless there are KVMs that do 3 monitor, which I've never seen. *googleing*

EDIT : Well, there's this : http://www.kvmgalore.com/shopping/product_info.php?products_id=42798 but I'd still need 2 and 6 splitters. The price wouldn't be out of consideration... if I didn't need 2 of them. tongue.gif

Maybe I can explain it differently. I'm looking for something that will make the following possible:

Signal A goes to Monitor 1
Signal B goes to Monitor 2

--flip switch--

Signal A goes to Monitor 2
Signal B goes to Monitor 1

I see, I don't think something that will do that out of the box exists.
