Is it a 1gb 560? If so, upgrade. 1gb isn't really enough anymore.

Oh, and for the PCI-3 lanes to be working properly, an Ivy Bridge CPU is required, if I remember correctly.. Correct me if I'm wrong

Congratulations! Also, 1gb is plenty for most games. More would be nice but a single monitor setup with 1gb should be fine. Also to ease your mind, even with pci3, there isn't a game out there that will use more than what pci2 delivers. I am waiting till March 23rd since I have an evga step up before I jump the sli or Kepler decision myself.

It really isn't enough for newer titles. Almost every game I play now hits the 1280mb cap on my card.

^This. Unless you're a 60FPS kind-of-guy, it won't be a problem. My games are smooth even when playing on my 32"tv, which surprised me.

I was under the impression that games will reserve the memory regardless if it uses it all or not. Can't give you guys a source though as I don't remember where it was said. I personally haven't had issues at all yet. But then again, I know some games will sneak scale graphics. Shogun 2 for example. Even on the 580 it will adjust settings regardless of what you set it as. Either way at this point, the op already got a new card, and with rumors of a kepler release next month, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Lol
