Just ordered a Rasa 750 240 RX liquid cooling kit, going to put a 240EX radiator on top and mod the hard drive cage to install the RX radiator on the bottom of the case. Anyone know anyone who has done this, the back side of the hard drive cage is part of the inside panel of the case, so I am going to have to do alot of cutting and sanding. I would like to chat with someone who has done this successfully before I get into it. If the kit comes in before I can information I will post a bunch of pics, and let you guys laugh while I destroy a case.

My friend, a question: Where did you get your sleeved cables, or did you sleeve them yourself? Also how do you have your front panel cables routed, I don't see them thumb.gif

Haha. I'm sneaky! The cables are actually NZXT cable extensions in white (obviously...) Found here: http://store.nzxt.com/category_s/26.htm

And the cables you can see much better in my cable management pic below. rolleyes.gif

Thank you my brother, so I'm guessing your front panel extension cables gave you the extra length to feed them the long way around the backside panel where they couldn't be seen at all from an open side.

I was going to build a full new rig at the end of the year (including new case) whenever ivy-e or haswell came out, but my new Radeon 7970 seems to have brought ALOT of new life to my x58 i930 Lexa S rig, so I'm gonna make her look all pretty now that I know I'll have her for alot longer band.gif

Haha yeah, those particular ones are routed on the upper side of the hdd cage all bunched up and zip tied into a near little bundle, totally out of site. thumb.gif

I'm also looking forward to making some upgrades come this fall and winter time when I get back into the steady flow of work. Looking to upgrade to a corsair psu, a sata III corsair ssd, as opposed to my sata II, a closed loop liquid cooling cpu cooler like the H60, and last but not least, a Kepler gpu, im hoping 670 or 660ti.

Then, with whatever may be left over, I may look into getting a matte black switch 810. As soon as the matte black version came out I fell in love. rolleyes.gif

Thread Starter

sorry for the terrible pic but my cam sux if there is not alot of light. Here is my case so far everything done. I did not install the middle HDD bays because I did not need it and for 2 it opened up alot of breathing room for my front fans.

Hellzzz ya Switch 810 AHA that was exactly the case I had in mind for my build (those beautiful W/C builds like these guys on the Switch thread inspired me to say f*ck it and build a new rig even though my current Lexa S rig was doing just fine). I was just undecided between white or gunmetal (just no glossy black again this time tongue.gif)

Keep us updated on your upgrades!

Absolutely will. Just saw news on the 660ti, supposedly launching Aug 18th, I'm hoping that's true. If so I see my first purchase coming then...

Well, I made 20 bucks this week upgrading my gpu from a 550ti to a 470... LoL. That'll hold me over until the 660's come out, or until I feel like dropping the cash on a 670.

Got some pics of the new 470. Thing's a beast.
