ehitch better? differences? smile.gif
differences :
cooler (1 vs 2 fan) and
"stock" clocks (900/1800/4100 vs 970/1940/4200)

so if the price difference isn't too big (~20$) i would take the 2 fans one

Also , you should look at the MSI Cyclone one which IMO is the best 550 ti out there

Here is a review : http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/41619-nvidia-geforce-gtx-550-ti-roundup-asus-evga-gigabyte-msi-5.html

I know this is nVidia forum and all, but ... I'd get an HD6790 in that price range. It's the same price and faster in almost every game. Or better yet, scrape a few more bucks together for a 6850, which is significantly better than either one for not much more $$$.

that N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II 1GD5/OC or ASUS HD6790?
Generally the GTX550 Ti is a bad value, and the same goes for the HD6790 to an extent but not near as bad as when it first launched. Better buys are the GTX460 and HD6850.

I'm talking about price versus performance the GTX460 and HD6850 are better values since they cost around the same and perform better than the GTX550 Ti and HD6790. At least in the US this is the case, it could be different for you in Latvia depending on your prices.
