General nVidia Overclocking Guide ?

Hi guys,

I would like to ask if anybody knows about some nice detailed overclocking guide aimed on todays gpus (GTX 200 400 500 Series) ? I already overclocked some cards like GTX460 , 470 , 560 , 560ti , 570 , 580 , 6950 , 6970 , 6990 .. biggrin.gif But I still don't understand how it rly works like , if I am stuck for example at 1.087mv and 850Mhz on core (GTX470) what is next step ? Does lowering temps help me because of some electrical law or something? Why can't card take more volts if temps are low ? (70 at load and gpu should handle 105 according to nVidia) + Its working just fine at 90-95 with stock cooler .

I just feel like I am missing lot of thigs but can't find any extensive guide on this topick plus scores and clocks on hwbot.org makes me sad frown.gif for example there is toon of ppl who got 900 or Mhz on GTX470 and I just can get even 860 working stable .

Basically when I am overclocking I just open MSI Afterburner and push clock of core to stable max , than I am pushing volts and clocks till I hit wall (temp or clock) .

Any help or link to some nice guide would be great, thx guys.
