I would strongly recommend not going the raid 0 route. The chance of failure and loss of all data is 4x the normal rate because if one drive fails all the data is unusable. I currently have a 60gb ssd plus 4 drives in a raid 5 setup. It is not great speed since they are sata 2 but knowing that if one drive fails I am not in big trouble is good for peace of mind
