why only a single cpu board?

why a cheap sound card instead of some nice professional amp/dac combo? tongue.gif

Well...if you really want to go all out in EVERY respect, you can spend more than your entire budget just in audio equipment biggrin.gif

The only thing I could suggest.

Actually follow through with this. If your going to get our ideas pick one and build it. Build in all it's glory. Don't just get ideas for something that will never come to fruition otherwise consider us all mad.

Oh, this'll be fun.

A mere monitor with a 50k rig? Depending on what kind of house you have, I'd say a 4k projector and some SERIOUS sound setup. Find yourself an nice receiver, get a 10"+ sub, and some good freestanding speakers, and you'll have sound no headphones/sound card can beat.

Build lots of folding farms.
Please.
Look up derickwm's guide.
If you could put your money towards 10 ~8P builds, OCN would be VERY grateful. You could be pumping out lots of points, and slapping [H] in the face.

Little Devil case, phase change cooling the 3960X at 5.7GHZ, quad 580s. If I were you I'd just buy that with next day shipping and call it a day. The price is at around 20k I believe.
