im building a home theater pc with a hp computer and i have 3 cards, 4890, 9800gtx, 8800gtx. which one can i use with the 300 watt psu?

amd quad i think 95watt, and 4gb ddr2 ram... it needs a new mobo in it.

Which 300w? and the 9800GTX will use the least power among the 3 assuming stock clocks.

if i cant do anything with this psu ill just pick up a cheaper 500 or 400 watt.

the next question is how much power does each card require individually? because im building another system and im about to go tomorrow and pick up a power supply for the other system and im debating 9800gtx as main and 8800 as phsyics orrr 4890 as main.

What's the brand make/model? A solid 300w you could probably get away with. A no-name/cheap one is pretty iffy. If you fully-loaded your CPU and GPU, the entire system it could pull near 225w, riding fairly close to the PSU's max.

its just one out of an hp like i said lite on 300 watt. i figure at this point im not gonna use it the question is what should i get 400 or 500 watt?
