Microcenter intel build 430$ absolute max budget.

Im building a computer for a friend and would like to know what parts i should use. My budget without a case would be absolutey 430$. The main priority would be starcraft II.

Also i would like to know if mirocenter still gives away their 50$ off selected motherboards if i buy an intel proccessor, also would it be possible for microcenter to the store and they deny me the $50 off for whatever lame excuse they try to come up with.

This is what i have so far
PSU : Corsair 500Watts - 58$
Video Card :Radeon 6770 - 99.99$
Mobo: GA-Z68P-D3 - 109.99
Cd-Drive Lite-on - $19.99
HDD: Caviar Blue 160gb - $59.99
Ram: kingdom 2x2gb 1333 $24.99
Proccessor: I3 2100 $ 99.99
Equaling to about 473$ but $423 with the minus 50$ motherboard
The only other store option would be frys,

See for yourself. They won't deny you any discount, I got my sig rig's i5-2500K and mATX mobo as a bundle deal for $230 before taxes and after a $10 MIR.

SC2 is heavily processor based, so an i5-2500K paired with a decent GPU would be more than enough for it to run at high settings. My sig rig can run it maxed with ease, so I'm sure you can get components that are a generation or two older to reduce the cost.

Since your budget is low you may consider getting an i3+GPU or Llano, but I'm by no means an expert when it comes to budget builds.. hopefully someone else can help you here

I understand going Intel but they have some really good deals on AMD FX some with free motherboards. Would you be open to thinking about an AMD system ?

Do you have to buy from microcenter? You can certainly shave off a few bucks on various components on newegg if you can buy there. Microcenter is pretty hit or miss with their deals.
Last month they had $50 off a mobo when you buy a i3-2100, but that's not around anymore, (their deal only applies to 2600ks now). You're getting an i3-2100, why a Z68 mobo? Pick an H61 board to save some cash since it can't really OC anyway. Something around $55-65 with the connectivity you want will be perfectly fine.

Microcenter will pricematch newegg, but consider the taxes, if you don't pay taxes on newegg, it's probably not worth pricematching.

If you can buy from newegg, get this PSU instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026
You don't need 500 W at all, and this is cheaper.

Get this RAM, it's cheaper http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820576003

Cheaper CD/DVD burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136236

HDD/video card look good, both are best gotten at microcenter at those prices.
