definitley don't go XFX, have heard they have quality issues!
Only reason you should go for XFX is for Double Dissipation, as I believe that one has lifetime warranty.

My prefer brand when it comes to Radeon is MSI, HIS, and Sapphire.

Only downside with DCU II is triple slot, otherwise it is one of the best cooler out there.

i know but i dont have a rig right now. i decided to build one last year jan., and bulldozer was going to be released a coupla months from then, and it would blow away everything else and it would turn the world upside down etc etc... that coupla months got delayed till okt. 22

then i decided to get a i5/ 6950 rig, ordered it and after two months it still wasn't delivered, cancelled it and decided to wait for 7k.

also ordered a samsung spinpoint f3 1tb back then. called em yesterday cuz it still wasn't delivered. it got cancelled because they dont sell em no more. now prices have gone up but the guy said he would talk to his chef so he could get me a wd caviar black 1002faex for the original price of the samsung, 52 euros (back then it was 70,- and now its 135,-)

i have spring break next week so i think ill order my rig then.

i occasionally see some el cheapo 7970's but those offers last for like 30 minutes and then they're back to ridiculous prices. i think i'll get a 7950, probably a msi TFIII one when its retailed here for a not-so-ridiculous-pricepoint
