Urm, I say Kingdom of Amalur, Fallout series, Borderlands (quite similar to Skyrim tbh), Deus Ex HR (alot more action FPS-ey but extremly fun.)

(dont get Dragon Age II unless you really like DA I because it felt more like dlc and not an entire game)

Second (third?) the Dragon Age: Origins suggestion. If you really like that, buy DA2 and be prepared to punch yourself in the face wishing that your face's feelings were attached to the lead designer and developer of DragonAge's face. Keep punching harder until you pass out.
