Info: What Are Some Useful Keyboard Shortcuts?

Heres a series of keyboard shortcuts that you can use to make working on your computer easier, faster, and more efficient

IE/FireFox Shortcuts:

CTRL + D = Adds current page to favorites
CTRL + H = Opens history
CTRL + I = Opens favorites
CTRL + N = Opens new IE/FireFox window
CTRL + R = Refresh current page
CTRL + S = Save current page
CTRL + U = View page source
CTRL + W = Close current window
ALT + Home = Homepage
ALT + Left Arrow = Back
ALT + Right Arrow = Forward
F11 = Fullscreen

Forum Shortcuts:

CTRL + B = Bold text
CTRL + I = Italics text
CTRL + U = Underlined text

Microsoft Word Shortcuts:
CTRL + ALT + C = Copyright Symbol (©)
CTRL + ALT + R = Registered Trademark Symbol (®)
CTRL + ALT + T = Trademark Symbol (™)
CTRL + Z = Undo
CTRL + Y = Redo
CTRL + P = Prints whatever in active window.
CTRL + Backspace = Erases one word at a time.
CTRL + Up/Down Arrows = Scroll entire paragraphs at a time.
CTRL + Shift + Up/Down Arrows = Select entire paragraphs.

Windows-Key Shortcuts:

Windows + D = Brings you to Desktop
Windows + E = Opens My Computer
Windows + F = Opens Search
Windows + L = Log off
Windows + M = Minimize
Windows + Shift + M = Maximize
Windows + R = Launches Run
Windows + U = Utility Manager
Windows + Pause/Break = System Properties
NUMLOCK + * (asterisk) = Show all subfolders under selected folder
NUMLOCK + + (plus sign) = Show contents of selected folder
NUMLOCK + - (minus sign) = Collapse/Hide contents of selected folder

F2 = Rename
F3 = Search
F4 = Drops down address bar for available selections

ALT + Enter = View item properties
ALT + Space = Open window or program command menu [Resize, Min/Max -imize, Close]
CTRL + Mouse (Drag) = Copy selected item
CTRL + Shift + mouse (Drag) = Create Shortcut to selected item
CTRL + Shift + ESC = Open Task Manager
CTRL + Windows + F = Search network for computer(s)

F6 = Alternate Tab key
F10 = Alternate ALT key
CTRL + ESC = Alternate Windows Key

PhotoShop Shortcuts:

F1 = Toggles Adobe Online Help
F5 = Toggles Brush style palette
F6 = Toggles Colour, Swatches, Styles palette
F7 = Toggles Layers, Channels, Paths palette
F8 = Toggles Navigator, Info palette
F9 = Toggles Actions, History, Presets palette
Tab = Toggles all the palettes on screen
Shift + Tab = Toggles palettes on screen, excluding the Toolbar.

CTRL + N = New Document Dialogue Box
CTRL + A = Selects all
CTRL + D = Deselects all
CTRL + J = Copies Layer
CTRL + K = Preferences Dialogue Box
CTRL + L = Levels Dialogue Box
CTRL + ' = Toggles Grid Lines
CTRL + U = Hue/Saturation Dialogue Box
CTRL + T = Transform Tool
CTRL + Z = Undo
CTRL + X = Cut
CTRL + C = Copy
CTRL + v = Paste
CTRL + Shift + C = Copy Merged
CTRL + Shift + T - Repeats the last performed Transform

There are a ton of other shortcuts for many different programs and stuff but the ones I listed seems to be the most used/most important. Hope some of these will help you in the future .

You've got a good list going here, JacKz5o... so, why don't we/you expand on it even more...

***** More Windows Keyboard Shortcuts *****
CTRL + mouse-drag = Copy selected item
CTRL + SHIFT + mouse-drag = Create Shortcut to selected item
F2 = Rename selected item
F3 = Open search pane in current explorer window (also works for Firefox [Find word on page] and IE [opens "Search Companion" sidebar and yields results like these]
F4 = Drops down My Computer / Windows Explorer's Address bar for all available selections
F6 = Functions same as TAB in a My Computer / Explorer window, switching between elements
F10 = Funtions same as ALT in any program window or My Computer / Explorer
ALT + Enter = View item Properties
ALT + Space = Open window or program command menu [Resize, Min/Max -imize, Close]
CTRL + ESC = same as Windows key...

In tabbed browsers, CTRL + T opens a new tab, kind of like CTRL + N.
