Gaming Headset Question

I saw this....

Now which should i get ? G5 .vs sennheieser 333d or corsair veng. 1500 or some tritton model ?

Is dolby good for gaming ?
Or is there any new 2012 technology cmin ?

EDIT: Basic need is gaming and music....good basic , sound clearing and Comfort , my current one hurts my hears allot cause i use them for hours n hours...so comfort is important too

The word "gaming" is just a marketing gimmick. From my experience, I'd suggest staying away from so-called "gaming headsets". Rather get something like a Shure SRH440/840 or the 750DJ, or the Audio Technica AD700. All these are very good for music, as well as gaming. At least I prefer them over any other so-called gaming headsets.

What is your budget? It's hard to give you recommendations without a budget!

AD700, HA RX700 are both good choices depending on your budget.

With corsair you dont have the same quality as with headphones.. the guys made some nice suggestions above. ^
(the 750dj have a dreadful soundstage for gaming, they are nice for music though)
