I have a question about ps3 mkv files

Hello!
I want to watch mkv. files on my ps3 and i heard that ps3 can stream from the pc right to the ps3 system.
I have heard about the program PS3 Media Server but the program cant find my ps3 and its not working..
but i succees with the windows media player to stream only avi. and stuff files.
some buddy know one more way to watch mkv. files (movies) on ps3, i tried to download divx codec pack but I didn't try it yet.

I know i tried this program too I know that it remuxing or something but the problem that the movie moving in lil bit stucking and I cant see movie in this way, maybe i just dont know how to remux, i will like to know how to use the program Ive been saw some youtube guides and every guide some other settings.

Your English is fine; it's the bold that's bad. Are you only trying to get a solution that allows you to stream or are you willing to store the files on your PS3? If the latter, try: http://www.redkawa.com/videoconverters/ps3video9/

I'm just looking for solution to fix the streaming problem, cuz i want so bad to watch full bd movies but all my movies on mkv format.

Yea I just use PS3 Media Streamer it works fine. You turn on the progarm on your PC, then turn on your PS3 and make sure its connected to the network. Then you goto video tab and yo will see media server.
