Been going over server builds with multiple people, and have finally come down the selection below in this picture:

Yes, there are a few things missing.
Most notably, hard drives, and a power supply. The hard drives will come at a later point in time (mainly when drives go down in price/when I can select a decent proposal), and the power supply will be ripped out of another machine.

Could anyone give me some tips/ideas, changes, etc?

This will be for a home server which includes, file serving, web hosting, file exchange, ftp, ssh, etc.

An i7? Seriously? Thats way overkill for anything you want to do. An i3 + cheap mobo would do more than fine.

i agree, an I3 will be fine and just a standard mobo.. i cant make out the image much but i think you have 8GB of RAM.. you could get away with 4GB easily unless you want to use virtualization, then 8GB or 16GB would be better.. i think VM's would be the way to go as you can have sperate OS's for your needs, I.E for file serving and storage run something like freeBSD/FreeNAS in a VM, the web server in another VM.. that way you will have better protection of your personal data as the web server will basically be a seperate system that the file server.
