295.73 WHQL drivers are OUT!!! Attack.

Thread Starter
Manuel G from Nvidia Forums ( he is in Nvidia Tecnhical Support ) said on Feb 13th that the"WHQL drivers are in track for release later this month."

Later he adds that "The WHQL driver will indeed include many new fixes that are not present in the current BETA driver. "

I hope this time the company stays true to its word, and i hope the so called new fixes are worthy.

EDIT : Today 21st of February Manuelg, a tech from Nvidia said that the new WHQL drivers will be available today.. It will be 295.73 and contains lots of fixes including the memory leak and other stuff.

EDIT 2 : They are out in most of the regions but not all. http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win7-winvista-64bit-295.73-whql-driver-uk.html Uk has it at least.

EDIT 3 : The drivers are out at guru3d.com as well
http://www.guru3d.com/news/geforce-forceware-29553-64bit-whql-download/
Though they named it 295.53 but it had to be 295.73. I am sure the link might be modified when they notice the mistake so check guru3d.com if you cant find the drivers at geforce.com

EDIT 4 : The Nvidia Link of the downloads

They also said something along those lines a month ago. We'll see another beta first, I'm confident of that.

Thats what I am scared of.

The last 2 betas were supposed to be a WHQL but nope they were betas. I really strongly believe that Nvidia can do better in Bf3.

I think that NVIDIA will wait for April to release the WHQL ( 600 Series ).

I hope not. April is too far away.

I hear that TDR issues are holding back the WHQL but i am not 100% certain about this.

Though I agree that they are probably busy with Kepler drivers and this is also making us wait longer.

TDR = Timeout Detection and Recovery.

Something that i never ever suffered with my old 570 or 590. Lucky me thumb.gif
