leaves you with 289.05 for video cards, so you still should go with the below vid card choices:
pick one i used the 560 ti for budgeting purpose as it was more expensive
xfx 6950 2gb newegg 254.99 after mir
msi 560 ti 448 twin frozr 3 oc newegg 265 after mir
so after the 560 ti 448 you have 24.05 left to cover taxes at microcenter. this is ofcourse if you have a hard drive external or something to use for storage.

Lets see...
Swap RAM for 2 sticks of these - $47.98
Remove CPU cooler, run stock cooler for now (add one later), saves $35 there (the CPU will do 4.0 on the stock cooler)
Source 210 for $39.99 + 7.99 shipping (saves $2 there)
Remove the SSD if he's got a hard drive already (you can always add a SSD later)
That puts us at about $400 for a graphics card now. Which means he's only $50 short of this beast.
I wonder if we can do this.....

If we can't....then at least swap the RAM out for the Samsung sticks...they're amazing! Leave the rest of the build as is, and grab that sweet 560Ti 448c. That's a solid GPU.
