GTX 580 and PCI-E 2.0 16x Bandwidth

TL;DR: Basically, I'm wondering if the GTX 580 can max out the bandwidth of PCI-E 2.0 x16, or if there might be any other problems when it has to share the bus with a NIC and sound card (latency issues?).

Details:
I have a GA-P67A-UD7-B3 mobo and a single GTX 580 3GB. I also have a PCI-E NIC and a PCI-E sound card.

The UD7 only has one standard PCI-E x1 slot, and that is useless due to it's proximity to the cooling array. There are however, four PCI-E x16 slots operating off the NF200 chip. These four slots are in pairs that operate at either 2x x8 or 1x x16. One slot is already occupied by the GTX 580, and it physically obscures the second, so that's one pair gone. I can put the NIC and sound card in the remaining pair, which will operate at x8 each and the 580 will technically still be running at x16.

But, because the NF200 is just some kind of marketing snake oil and there is still only one x16 bus between it and the CPU, there will essentially be GTX580+NIC+Sound Card all sharing the x16 bandwidth.

Will this arrangement cause any bottleneck? Can the GTX 580 saturate PCI-E 2.0 x16? Will there be any latency issues when running things like sound cards off the NF200 chip?

Compute applications can use the extra bandwidth provided by an x16 slot, games however, on all current cards you don't really need to worry about PCI-E 8x/16x, difference is probably in the neighborhood of 1-2%.
