The only way to stop piracy in it's tracks is to delete the internet tongue.gif And if they successfully pull that off, I'd gladly revoke my citizenship and live on a raft suspended by crafting foam in the middle of the ocean. Because I would mean more as a human out there.

Well lets hope no one shoots the darts into the engines, then we might blow it up wink.gif On topic: Hooray for Google!

Google should just remove links to their sites from searches if a lawsuit is filed. wink.gif

When making a comparison...make sure you take it into context. A search engine displaying http links to a site that openly allows members to distributes content towards being able to download copywrite information has no relation to a library containing information about piracy, for what it is, and no mention on methodologies towards obtaining such content.

Example?

You can't think of a single example? Out of everything that you have experienced, there is nothing that you wouldn't want anyone else to see? Do you hold any confidential material that are only told to those that have the intelligence to understand, knowledge to comprehend, and or trustworthy to hold such information? Are you opposed to giving children free reign of material that can cause significant harm to their psychological health? Well, if you can't, then I think censorship is doing a good job on the "need to know" basis.

Cause you know, there is not a single "bad" thing on this planet eh? We've already seen the problems piracy has called. Look at those garbage DRM and download programs that cause paying customers agony and frustration towards even playing their game. What about those game designers that are underpaid because some blokes, totally upwards to millions, decided to download their game for free?

Yeah...it is kinda obvious.

This just in!

Google loses censorship lawsuit and so removes all results related to torrenting/pirating/streaming/etc.

Google also takes it upon themselves to remove any reference to the music industry as well, while they're messing with the filters. Oops.

I'd feel sorry for the windows people who use it mostly for piracy. In Linux it is a lifeline to distro grabbing. So I'm glad we have them either included or easily accessible.

LOL. That would be a great day indeed. Actually, Google should do that right now to remind them who they are screwing with.

Censorship is how dictatorships and tyranny happen. Don't believe me? Try searching democracy on any search engine in Shanghai.

Look, food is bad. Go search up diabetes, eating disorders, etc. Does that make food bad? No, just when it is misused. Now go take some university courses and read some academic papers on why we use such methodologies to protect people.

You probably can't find a single issue to why my post is inappropriate and just using blanket statements to make some point...that....that...? lol
