Howdy from Cali..

Thread Starter
My name is ranger and I am a relatively new overclocker from San Francisco. I have an AMD 1090T now stable at 4.1Ghz on air. I also just got an ATI 5850 reference (which I promptly bios flashed to a 5870) and looking for a second for crossfire. I can't beleive how cool eyefinity is, and how much I can push this card.

Needless to say, I am going for 4.2+Ghz and like 850/1250 on the ATIs, and I need water bad! So it beginns..

See ya on the boards,
Ranger

Honestly - at $100 for a card it isn't bad. I could easily see how moving to a GTX580 or a 5970 would be incredible.. but I am spending all that money on WC equipment now.. maybe next year? Thanks for the reply.

Welcome!
I love 5850s and 5870s too) as I mentioned I have 5 5870s and a 5850 right now)))
great cards for performance in CF and cheap too), doing my wc setup right now too, but it's really hard to get blocks for them

good luck with your build!
