looking forward to your input..
i use guru3d.com to look at all my benchmarks but i guess they didnt do a review of 6970CF... no one elses reviews make any sense to me.. so i come to you!

Well, if you are gaming at 1080p, then choose the less costly option. I have two 570s in SLI and the only game i cant consistently get 60+ fps with max everything is METRO.

Here is a link to compare 6970 CFX vs 570 SLI
anandtech benchmarks

To argue against everyone saying 2GB vram will help in battlefield 3, here is how the single cards compare:
636

For those arguing that one is better at reducing micro-stuttering than the other, you have to remember that micro-stuttering varies drastically within a game. Here is a graph I made measuring the difference in frametimes between successive frames in crysis. Notice this measures the microstuttering of around 2000 frames
(GTX570 SLI @850/2050, all settings max) :
84

now compare that with:
281

50 frames of micro-stuttering cannot paint a clear picture of whats going on.

I'd say the recommendation of the 2.5 gb version of the 570's is more for future-proofing than anything since even on BF3 the difference in performance with more vram is negligible.

i have a gtx 570 ds superclocked, love it so far. so i'll more than likely sli them down the road. but i was wondering what kind of monitor you people are using? i hear that 60hz monitors do nothing for bf3 or sli configs....
