Please used register cleaner like tune up Advanced SystemCare iobit.com or crapcleaner Check Error for hard drive before installing.
Please check error on hard drive before installing new drivers after you uninstalled them. Please run Driver cleaner .net or sweeper.

After reading this i suggest not use this driver and you will end up in trouble re-installing your os.

These are tweaked drivers, so you have to know the risks. Anyway I don't think you'll end up re-installing your OS caused by this. I have had no problems at all with them, but can't assure anyone else won't.
I saw a nice improvement over the standard Creative drivers, but it's just me. Hope others share their experience. Cheers all!

I've heard great things about PAX drivers and that is what external hard drives are for. All my files are backed up so a reinstall isn't too much of a hassle.

New tweaks to put into drivers: [ http://dl.technewshw.com/driver/PAX/tweaks.7z ]
Copy the ini file in Drivers>WDM>Common and replace the original tweaks.ini with this new one, this in the driver installation folder. After that, install it.
Thank you Rob again. Have been told that new drivers are on the way.
Enjoy.

I would install the Daniel K X-fi support pack which contain actual fixes.

These PAX drivers are just creative's own drivers with some sound quality tweaks which you can do your self if thats what you really want. I wouldn't install these.

Just follow some of the creator of these PAX driver's posts, Rob McClelland. You'll lose the urge to install them. Seriously, these drivers don't actually do anything.

Stuff like this is what cracks me up. The hell of a change log.

Daniel_K drivers has only gave me problems since the beginning (audigy and previous), PAX works flawless, just some tweaked stuff is good for me. And the drivers actually does something, Rob will be here anytime. You can ask him later, but have heard lots of good stuff about this drivers. Sound improvement is noticeable.

Why would you want someone to tweak your sound for you? If I set my equalizer to flat then thats how I want it and not colored by someone's tweaks. Thats all that these PAX drivers do. There is no functional difference. Its just creative beta drivers that you can download on your own with some tweaks to sound quality. Its one thing if a card that no longer supported but that isn't the case for most cards.

If it weren't for Daniel K you wouldn't have used the audigy with any os past XP. His drivers actually have functional differences and an actual change log. He is a very knowledgeable guy, just read his posts.
