can't remember the last time i had to DL something outside of torrents. yes it's a shame but i don't really care. distributed p2p sharing is the future.

yeah, we are going back to peer to peer instead of direct download...
The only down part is that everyone will need to seed again (which will cost, some user that are on data limit with their internet, upload limit)

Theyre going after DD sites because they cant really go after the downloaders themselves since they arent sharing with others like torrents.

Well, at least I never used rapidshare since years ago when they were a little better. When I tried to download a legal file before, it was deleted within days for unknown reason. Download was ridiculously slower and then I just never used them again. Anytime I find rapidshare links, I find it more rare to see a good link than one thats been deleted.

Why would anyone use Rapidshare nowadays with all these BS wait 1 minute before download, 1 hour after first download and the current 30kb/s speed cap? Seriously a simple google search "free file hosting" will show up tons off other much better alternatives. rolleyes.gif
