Would changing the video cable you use have any effect? Have you tried HDMI, maybe one of the DVI pins is somehow messed up

I had changed the DVI cable when I bought this second monitor, it had the defect on both. I am using the same port on the video card. I actually gave it a wiggle earlier at the card and didn't see anything.

My friend is still here, took my own picture this time:

Running stock drivers, GPU canvas off in Chrome, no flash running. Ran perfect until today, just desktop use this morning.

That looks like bad VRAM or some sort of random interference to me (not being a NVIDIA pro, just from electronic knowledge).

Pretty sure I'm going to exchange this card today.

You know, now that I think about it, my 560ti is doing the something similar. When watching netflix or playing in media player, the video flickers like an old VHS tape. Sometimes the icons in windows explorer get a turquoise background behind them as well. I never thought much of it but I wonder if it is something funky with GF114.
Tonight I am going to swap out the card with a spare and see if the problem goes away.

Yeah, been told there are issues with flash and such, but this is just a browser window with gmail. Another 45 min drive is in my future. I could troubleshoot this till I'm blue in the face and 2 weeks later it could happen. Then my only recourse is RMA.

I noticed that yours is a TFII version. I have heard stories about these coming unseated from the pcie slot. Have you ensured yours is not slowly coming out?

Only had the card installed since Feb 5th, I didn't notice, my motherboards PCI slot has one of those locks that snap when the board is pushed in. I've returned the card with the same brand, fingers crossed.

Hey Phillychuck, Im having the same issue as well and the funny thing is that we have the same video card and purchased the same week. It was happening to me on desktop as well. I tried a lot of the drivers and currently using 275.33, I thought it was all good because it hasnt done it in a couple of days but then it just happened again last night while in desktop mad.gif It almost seems like a bad batch or something. Going to Fry's to get it replaced before the 30 days.

Holy smoke that's so much worse then what I had seen.. I guess that was my future!

edit: sorry, saw that you had posted how often it messes up. I need to read more careful.
