hi i have a xfx 790i ultra motherboard and i have a Q6600 cpu and i have just bought a set of
OCZ Technology OCZ3RPR1600C6LV4GK (4gb 2x2gb DDR3 PC3 12800) RAM MEMORY PC

and i was hoping someone can tell me whats the best settings to use whith these as i have never realy bothered about overclocking or that before but i would realy like to get the most out of these sticks and my cpu the sticks have not arrived yet and at the moment i only have 2x1gb sticks of these OCZ3P13331G so will i notice a big diffrence once the ones i bought do arrive and i would realy love for someone to tell me how to set my bios up for once the ones i bought do arrive at the moment my 790i ultra has the 6.00pg bios on it should i upgrade the bios aswell and if i bought another set of OCZ3RPR1600C6LV4GK (4gb 2x2gb would 4x2gb sticks of these all work at the same time or not ? anyway i look forward to the replies guys

RAM overclocking doesn't make any real performance difference. I would buy another set and run 8GB, however this will put more load on the chipset and could limit you OC ability.

You will be wanting to OC your CPU for best performance. Id your CPU has B3 stepping you max OC will probably be around 2.8 - 3GHz, if you have a G0 stepping CPU you can hit 3.4-3.6GHz.
