I feel compelled to come back and clear up my mistake.

I finally took time out to possibly see why my rear-side panel latches wouldn't stay closed since no body else seemed to be having this issue. After some investigating, I noticed for the first time that the wires to the rear exhaust fan would always droop down and get pinched under the latch housing when trying to close the panel, doh! rolleyes.gif

After re-routing and zip-tying these wires well out of the way, the latches of course now snap into place much much more securely. Problem solved.

Long live the 650D. thumb.gif

haha i did something very similar, i routed all the Front panel IO cables through the latch hole on the back side..... cabled tied everything, even fired up the rig for shakedown.... then tried to put the back door on... *facepalm* i think i might have broken the catch, is there any way i can get a catch separately? a special order or something?
