Monitoring while folding?

Thread Starter
Hey, so i decided to start folding and i feel i have it set up right now, i guess I will see in a few days when bonus points start. I plan to fold nights and days when I am out, will probably be about 16-18/ day.

But i was wondering if anyone monitors their computer status remotely like temperatures and fan speeds and such, or maybe I am just paranoid that something will go wrong when I am not home and want to have a way to easily monitor it, and / or receive updates if a temperature goes over a set value.

I have remote desktop installed and can access it from my phone / laptop but at work our proxy server blocks that protocol. But my data plan is limited and i require most of it for work and email so i can't keep checking it all month, so i was hoping i could install some sort of web service that could privately post some specs, maybe folding status, CPU/ GPU temp and some fan speeds.

I don't know if I'm being too paranoid or if my being worried is valid or should i just trust my computer and believe that my computer won't spontaneously combust.

dont know if it will get around the firewall but i use log me in. Pretty nice easy to use web based client that also has a android/ios app if needed. Only trouble is multiple monitors can make it a little bit of a pain so when I am out of the house I leave my folding monitor and speedfan open on the main monitor so I can check in (and way to frequently at that)
