EK CoolStream XT 240mm + Corsair 650D

Hey,

Was just about to order my watercooling stuff for my 650d build but the original radiator that I chose is now out of stock (XSPC EX240).

So I'm looking at the EK CoolStream XT 240mm instead, but it is 47mm in height.

Does anyone know if this will fit at the top of a Corsair 650d case without hitting the top of the motherboard?

Thanks guys!

One person says it won't fit, another person says it will and posts a link to a youtube review. I can't watch the review right now because my internet connection is sub par but I hope this will point you in the right direction thumb.gif

The 650D can fit a 50mm Rad + 25mm fan fine.

I think that TTL video is wrong though.

I measured mine and its about 70mm from top of motherboard tray to top of case, hense why its kinda hard to tell if the EK rad would fit as its 47mm, so with fans it would be around 72mm.

I've been looking into radiators and 72+/- 1mm seems about right based on my measurements. If you have plugs or heatsinks up against the edge of your mobo, it's very possible it won't work. It's very sad that Corsair decided to cut that space so short. Assuming it doesn't work, just another two mm would do the trick.

It's going to be close one way or another.

See I have a Asrock extreme4 which has a heatsink right at the very top of the mobo :/

Might just have to go with the XPSC one.

This is a diagram of how I want to fit everything:

I have the XSPC RS240 on top with fans in pull, there is ~15mm left between the rad and board. Not enough to fit another set of fans.
