[Build Log] New i5 build :-)

Thread Starter
Hi everyone, I'm about to start my first build from scratch. I've installed things like RAM, graphics cards, hard drives etc. but never installed a motherboard or cooler.

I'm going to hit the hay now, and do this tomorrow. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon everything will be together and working. Otherwise I'll be posting here asking for help!

Attached is a picture of my components, ready and waiting!

EEEK! When I went to close the lever on the CPU, there was a grinding noise, so I stopped. From googling a bit, it seems like it's not uncommon, but it completely freaked me out!
