Hi,

I have Dungeon Defenders for PC,

Keyboard/mouse work, weapons and specials work, everything that way works.

Xbox controler for 360 that is a wired controller (no adapter, just works). I can configure every single button for any choice in the configuration menu pre game. I can press them, they respond. I've performed the configuring for the controller in control panel.

When i'm in the tavern, or any match, my controller will not respond for the right and left trigger, the X / Y, which I need to use for activate, and alt activate.

I use right trigger for fire, and left for alt fire.

Does anyone have any idea's how to get this to work? Hugely appreciated.

I've tried Ps3 wireless controller, i've tried the wired controller for ps3, i've tried a logitech controller which has the axis permanently reversed for some reason.

Will try apps. Have tried afterwards, the following two apps.

x360ce.App-2.0.2.158

MotioninJoy_060004_x86_signed ( And 64bit)

I'm on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Administrator account.

I've tried on and off usb hubs,no hubs, only device connected with keyboard and mouse also, etc. I've tried rebooting, full shut down, wait 1min, boot up. I've uninstalled drivers, I've reinstalled. I've tried the microsoft drivers, i've tried to find sony's drivers, no luck there.

Not sure what is happining here for you. I use a PS3 controller + Motion joy with the 360 controller emulator with no issues even In DD. Now that being said mouse and keyboard are much more natural for that game the only advantage the controller brings is aim assist and that is not needed.

yeah i was able to get all of my controllers to work through motion joy. I even got the PS3 setup wirelessly through a BT dongle.

I do know that when you plug it into a USB port, you have to essentially assign the controller to that port and motion joy will configure to work with that usb port, specifically.

True, aim assist is fun, but i've played the game first, ps3, and now I want to do PC, and see if it's any different with gfx / multiple frame rates, etc. As the PS3 gets choppy @ 3-4players when the item menus for all load up, where as pc, I dunno yet.

thats not a problem, mine has been setup for quite some time so i dont remember it all by heart...

in the motion joy software, when you plug in your usb controller and bt dongle, you will be able to install a driver. It's a tab up top so when you click on it you should be able to see both devices. Just clicking on each device, there should be a button that says install driver. It will change the status of the device to installed, or some such. Once that is done, the device should be "assigned" to that usb port, if you change ports for either device, you will need to go and install the drivers again.

for the bt part, there should be another tab which you are able to connect your ps3 controller to the bt dongle. I dont remember the button y ou press, but it should be pretty obvious.

I apologize for the incomplete instructions, i do not have my pc on at home so i cannot remote in to get the details, just yet. If you are not able to get it working, i will get better directions.
