i set it to max and to 5 runs, it seems like it's taking a long time, but the temps are at 30c and once in a while they jump to 31c ,then back to 30c. i wanted to get the log from the first run to show, but it said something like i needed aministrative privages or something, anyway, when this is finished, i hope i get the log to post

i started aida64, and it says that all 8 cores are at 100%, temps still 30c once in a while 31c, it really doesn't seem to be doing too much, it's actually pretty boring, i was hoping it would bring my temps up, and i was waiting to stop it if they got too high, but i'm doing able to do other stuff, surf the web, check email, is this suppose to run all night? still cool air from the back???? is there a better test maybe? it's 3:26am now, i'll let it run a little longer, but i really don't see the point. i'm just watching the little flame dancing in the box, and still at 30c

maybe this test only works on intels, i don't know, but i'm getting delerious, i gotta get some sleep, it does not seem to be stressing the system like i thought it would, still at 30c, ............ i'll pick this up tomorrow, and i'm not going to go to bed and leave this running, so i'm going to turn if off, see you later.........

thanks for the 3D Mark runs. i'll be following your progress.

you dont remove sticks. you set the amount of ram to use in intel burn test the same as prime95.

are you still running stock core speed ?
you REALLY need to overclock that thing to get some performance from it.

Most people just run it 5 times working with slow increment overclocking @ Standard till they feel they've reached the max, then switch to Stability testing with 10+Runs, Wprime runs, Prime95, and so on and so forth. Hope this helped you!

I just run 5x on standard to test. Then i'd raise the FSB by 10-20 and run again. Or Raise the multiplier 2-3 thumb.gif
Starting with a moderate voltage too, this really makes it alot faster to overclock! thumb.gif

As for your temps i'm taking it the temperature diode in that thing is dodgy, 30c would be more like the idle temperature.. Well probably not even rolleyes.gif

Still, as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters smile.gif
